The kitchen Uncle Peter did.....

Good Morning, Family and Friends wherever you are,

Do I have a story for you, or what?? Just one more exciting day here in hot country!! No, really, yesterday....see Auntie Sue? I'm writing at a little after six in the morning of Tuesday about my adventures of Monday, the day before because this is the day after the day before, and you can't write about the day before until it's the day after 'cause on the night of the day before, you're too tired to think, let alone have the paws hit the correct keys on the computer! I'm not at all comfused! I AM gorgeous, however, if not slightly spoiled.

Sooooo, here's what happened. Yesterday. Monday. We went over to one of Uncle Peter's houses.......he bought this house at a forclosure sale......it had been a puppy mill and man, was it a mess. He had to gut the entire thing and redo everything. Took a lot more time, money, and work than he anticipated, but now he has a really nice little house on a nice lot that he can sell. Mommy and Daddy were really impressed with his worksmanship. I wasn't allowed to go in the house because they had a pregnant kitty there....she'd been hired to catch mice before they knew she'd been knocked up.......and they didn't want me to chase her and induce labor. So I sat in the truck and guarded the place......was early in the morning so not very hot, all you worriers. When it gets hot, my Daddy leaves the truck running so I have the air conditioner, and he's never gone more than a few minutes.

From that house, we drove to another house that Uncle Peter and Aunt Jodie have a listing on. They had to go through it to make notes on what the seller has to do to make it more sellable. This house will go on the market for $450,000. Anyone interested?? It's huge, but needs some work.

From there, we went to the grocery store and picked up a few little tidbits.....nothing for me, I'm afraid. Just bananas, and milk and stuff like that. Then back to Uncle Peter's and then the fun began. Mommy and Daddy were going to meet their friends Paul and Lee.....I told you about them, remember??.....for an early supper so I had to stay here. I stayed in the camper for an hour or so until Uncle Peter and Aunt Jodi came home to bring me into their house. There, I whined and cried and whined and cried and carried on like any child whose parents had gone off and left them. Not even Lilly, little Lilly the terrier wannabe, could take my mind off of being left by my mommy and daddy. I was pitiful. And when they finally got home? I was so excited I licked both of their faces all over and you gotta know, folks. I'm NOT a licker. Just not. But I thought they were never coming back and I crawled right up onto my daddy's lap and just lapped and lapped. Hopefully, he understood that he should never leave me again. Pitiful.

So, we went into the camper about 8:30 to call it a day. Uncle Peter came in to show Mommy how to use Google to make a phone call......for FREE!! That was fun. She called Aunt Luci and Auntie Ruth and sat right here at the computer and talked into it to talk to them. This technology stuff is amazing. When he left, we all went to bed. I was sleeping peacefully on the couch when all of a sudden, WHAMBANGTHWACKZAP.......the whole sky was falling right in on our heads!! It was 3:30 AM and it scared the beegeezus right out of me! I ran and jumped into bed with Mommy and Daddy....got as close to them as I possibly could, had my back end in Mommy's face and my head on Daddy's head, and there I stayed......trembling and gasping for breath.....oh, it was some horrible.....for an hour until the noise all went away. The rain was very heavy, but that didn't bother me as much as the flashes of light and the cracks and booms. I do NOT like loud noises. At home, I go into my kennel in the bedroom.....I feel safe there. But on the road? I just crawl right into be with the rents......that's teen talk for parents.....Cousin Katie taught me that, I think......she's 13 and really pretty. She has dark hair like mine, just a little longer. I'll have to take a picture of her to share with you.

OK....I gotta go with Daddy for my morning walk. Hope you all have a wonderful day. I love you all. Juni
