A couple of people have asked where the picture is of MY pedicure, and Mommy wasn't around when I had it so that's why there isn't one. Daddy doesn't think to do pictures like Mommy and I do.....sorry....maybe next time.
So, here we are in Charleston, SC. It's a nice, cool evening and we've talked to Uncle Patrick, but we aren't going to get to see him tonight. Too much going on wedding-wise. That's OK....Mommy is having an eye ache tonight, so she wants to go to bed early.
Soooooo, we left Uncle Peter's at around 7:30 this morning, trying to miss some of the early morning rush hour traffic. There were some parts that were slow, but for the most part, we didn't have any trouble until we got to SC where some dumb dufus......Daddy's words, I'm not allowed to talk like that......although, sometimes I forget and I do......then I get scolded because Mommy says it's a bad reflection on her which I really don't understand if I'm the one using the bad words and not her but, she's a mommy and they're like that, I guess......must be digressing somewhat....where was I???.....OK......dumb dufus ran off the road into the median, medium, middle part and his truck caught fire. Before anyone could get to it, it burned to a crisp, along with surrounding trees and the traffic was held up for miles, not because of fire trucks, or police, or anything like that but because of the goose neckers!! Rubber neckers??? Stooooopid people slowing down to get a good look at a burned out truck. Mommy tried to get a picture.....heh heh....one more looker-on-er......but a truck got in the way. Oh well.....that took us over an hour to get past and then everyone went hell bent for leather to make up for lost time. What does that mean.....hell bent for leather???? Anyone know?
We stopped at this nice truck stop for lunch and I got to get out and go for a long walk. I'm telling you, there are so many different smells around this country. It's wonderful and I just can't get enough of it. I wonder what it'll be like in Texas??? Can't wait!!
Sooooo, Daddy got some chicken for supper....the already cooked kind that smell so delicious? Ohhhhhhweeee.....I sure would have liked some of that but as usual, I'm a neglected dog. No people food for me....until it came to dessert! Yippee aye!! Ice cream!! Little bitty tubs of Ben and Jerry's and Daddy got cookie dough and Mommy got chocolate something and I got to lick the tubs!! A perfect ending to a really nice day.
